Irina Allegrova (Irina Alexandrovna Allegrova, born January 20, 1952 in Rostov-on-Don, Russia) is a Russian singer, poet, composer and actress. She works in the genre of pop, synth-pop, Russian chanson. Irina started her musical career in the 1970s as a member of various bands. In 1990 Allegrova announced herself as a solo performer, presenting the song "Wanderer". The composition became popular on radio hit parades. The songs "Don't Fly Away, Love!", "Believe in Love, Girls", "Photography" and "There Was No Sorrow" became hits and brought Irina popularity. In 1992 Irina's debut album Wanderer is Mine was released. In 1995 Allegrova recorded the song "Empress", which for a long time did not leave the top of hit parades and radio charts in Russia. In 2010 the singer was awarded the title of People's Artist of the Russian Federation. Allegrova became a regular participant of festivals and show programs of the country.
