Klas Gerling, known as Klaas, is a German DJ and music producer from Cologne. He was born on January 3, 1981 in Cologne. At the age of 5 his parents sent him to a music school, where Klaas learned to play the guitar and piano. Subsequently, Klas taught himself to play the drums, and began collaborating with local bands. Some time later, Klas was introduced to electronic music, and decided to get into DJing. Klas made his very first works back in the late 90's. Klas' first successful release in 2007 is his remix of DJ Antoine This Time. This remix has got high lines in hit parades of different countries. Such success was followed by another wave of remixes and Clas started to get requests to remix not only dance music, but pop songs as well. One of them becomes a composition of a band from Great Britain - No Angels Goodbye To Yesterday. In 2007 this remix was played almost in all clubs in Europe. It was followed by remixes of such artists as Eddie Thoneick, Aston Martinez, Michael Mind and Global Deejays.
