On July 21, singer JONY presented the maxi-single "Summer and Dot", recorded at the crossroads of pop and R&B genres. Roman Bestseller, a music producer who collaborates with major domestic artists, including Jah Khalib, Artik & Asti, Olga Buzova, Dzhigan, Christina Si, ST, Anna Sedokova and many others, was responsible for the sound of the release.

The tracklist of the maxi-single includes two new compositions. The romantic mood of both songs and the unifying theme of summer JONY plays with a diverse sound: in the track "omg" - sensual, relaxed sound with languid vocals create the atmosphere of dating on the coast, and the composition "Air Sarafan" - is a light Latin American vibe with dance beats and passionate guitar picks. The singles started gaining virality on social media after the artist shared the snippets.

"Lounger, chill, laid-back vibe - you're on a sun lounger sipping cocktails under the sun," JONY says, describing the vibe of the track "omg."

JONY is one of the main hitmakers of the domestic scene, who gave listeners such bright releases as the six times platinum single "Comet" (total of more than 117 million views on YouTube), three times platinum compositions "Fireplace" (in collaboration with EMIN, total of more than 117 million views on YouTube), "Love Your Voice" (more than 172 million views on YouTube), "Alley" (more than 146 million views on YouTube) and "Lali" (more than 89 million views on YouTube). Sensual vocals and catchy R&B melodies not only get a great response from the audience, but also bring the artist recognition at music awards: JONY's merits have been repeatedly recognized by Muz-TV, ZhARA MUSIC AWARDS, New Radio AWARDS.

The year 2022 ended with a major release - in December he released his third full-length album with the telling title "Don't look for genres in me", filled with bold experiments with sound. JONY tried everything from rap, rap and R&B to pop-rock and acoustic ballads. The artist opened the coming year with the track "Spellbound", a romantic R&B single inspired by the sunsets in Bali. In addition, JONY has already been recognized as the best singer twice in 2023, winning in this category at the RU.TV Channel Awards and ZHARA MUSIC AWARDS (where he also won in the VK Music Choice category).
