Kimbra (Kimbra Johnson, born March 27, 1990 in Hamilton, New Zealand) is a New Zealand singer-songwriter. She works in the genre of indie rock, pop, jazz, and R'n'B. Kimbra began her singing career in 2010 with the single "Settle Down". With the single "Cameo Lover", Kimbra won a song contest in 2011 and the ARIA Music Awards of 2011, after which she presented her first album "Vows". The album entered the top 20 charts in the USA, Australia, New Zealand and reached #4 on the ARIA Albums Chart. In 2012, the singer recorded a joint composition "Somebody That I Used To Know" with singer Gaultier. The single brought the musicians 2 Grammy statuettes and 4 wins at the Billboard Music Awards in different categories. In 2018, the singer's new album "Primal Heart" was released, the singles from which took top places in the charts.
