Alex Clare (Alexander George "Alex" Clare; born September 14, 1985) is a British and Israeli singer, artist and composer. His debut album The Lateness of the Hour was released in Britain on July 11, 2011. In 2012 Clare's song "Too Close" reached #68 on the Billboard Hot 100, and later climbed to #7, becoming his first Top 10 hit in the UK. Clare also had success in Germany, hitting number one on the charts. Clare's song climbed to number four on the UK Singles Chart.
