"Aria" (years of existence:1985 - present; Moscow, USSR, Russia) is a Soviet and Russian heavy metal band.

Aria's main genre is traditional heavy metal in its "English" school.
The former members of the band formed many other famous bands ("Master", "Kipelov", "Mavrin", "Arteria", "Artur Berkut"), which together form the constellation called the "Aria Family".
Most of the band's lyrics are written by Margarita Pushkina, and the music by Vitaly Dubinin and the band's founder Vladimir Kholstinin.
The musicians themselves call the birthday of the band October 31, 1985, when they finished working on the first studio album "Greatness Mania".
The band has released 14 studio albums.
