BumeR is a popular Russian band in the genre of dance chanson.It was formed in 2005 by the author, performer and producer Yuri Almazov. Yuri Almazov (real name Yuri Anatolievich Nadyktov; born September 8, 1969, Omsk; date of death - November 14, 2019, Moscow) is a Russian music producer, composer, singer in the chanson genre, and the founder and leader of BumeR. He is also known for producing the popular female band Vorovayki, which performs blatnye motifs. Valery Lizner was brought in to work on the sound of the band, responsible for the computer, keys, and backing vocals. The name was taken from a popular movie "Boomer". In the fall of 2005, the band's debut album "Boomer" was released, called "Letters". The main hit of the disc was the song "Moscow - Magadan". At the beginning of his career, Almazov wrote songs not only for himself, but also for other performers, in particular for Mikhail Shufutinsky. In 2013, Valery Lizner left the group for another project. Guest musicians often participated in the recording of songs for the group. In 2017, musician Petya Shneider, who used to play in Rock Atelier and VIA "Sinyabird", joins the project. The band performs in this lineup until the fall of 2019. On November 14, 2019, Yuri Almazov died suddenly. After the leader's passing, the band continued to work. Between 2005 and 2019, the band had 12 albums.
