Akcent is a Romanian pop band. The band was formed in 1999 by Adrian Claudiu Sâna. The debut album was released in 2000 and was called "Senzatia" ("Sensation"). In 2002, besides Adrian, the band joined Marius Nedelku, Sorin Brotnei and Mihai Gruja. In 2002 Marius Moga, then a novice musician, later the leader of Morandi and one of the most famous Romanian composers and producers, became the composer of the band's songs. At the beginning of 2022, the band has only one founding member, Adrian Claudiu Sâna. In Russia the band is known for its 2006 hit "Jokero".
