Islam Malsuygenov (born June 19, 1989 in Cherkessk, Karachay-Cherkess Republic of the RSFSR, USSR) is of Karachay nationality.
Zulfiya Chotchaeva (born on July 15, 1994 in Cherkessk) is a singer and actress.
For many years, she has been composing author's songs and performing them together with her husband. Remarkably, the duo sings not only in Russian, but also in Kyrgyz. This makes the army of artists' fans number in the hundreds of thousands.
She is an actress at the state Drama Theatre. There, Zulfiya plays in various productions.
The meeting with Zulfia Chotchaeva was fateful: the young people decided to collaborate and sing a duet. One of their songs, "Evil Destiny," quickly became popular and became one of the top two hundred tracks on itunes.
In 2017, the Republican Drama Theater hosted their first big concert. A year later, Islam released their first album, called "Give Me Love." It included 21 compositions, some of them became hits.
Since 2018. Malsuygenov has been working at the Republican State Philharmonic.
In December 2020, the track "The Sky" was released, which gathered 14.5 million views on YouTube in one year.
