LMFAO is an American duo, founded in 2006 in Los Angeles, USA. The group consists of DJ Redfu, real name Stefan Kandal Gordy and his nephew, DJ Sky Blue, real name Skyler Hasten Gordy. The band's compositions are recorded in the genre of hip-hop, hip-house and EDM. In 2008, the band presented their first studio album Party Rock, which reached number 33 on the Billboard 200 and number two on the U.S. Dance Chart. The single "I'm in Miami Bitch" reached number 51 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached number 37 on the Canadian Hot 100. In 2010, LMFAO recorded a joint single with David Gatta, "Gettin' Over You". The track became an international hit, reaching number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100, number 12 on the Canadian Hot 100 and has not left the top 10 charts around the world. In 2011, the duo presented the album Sorry for Party Rocking, from which the single "Party Rock Anthem" topped the charts in Canada, the USA, Great Britain and never left the top of the charts in many countries. The band has a Billboard Music Award for Digital Song of the Year and an MTV Movie Award.
