Peggy Gou has released a new single "I Believe In Love Again" featuring R&B icon Lenny Kravitz.
Out now via XL Recordings, the new track is set to feature on Gou’s upcoming debut album out in 2024.
Speaking of the track in a press release, the DJ and Producer said: “The 90s have had such a huge influence on my music. People know about my love of the dance/house/rave scene from that time but I’ve always been a big R&B fan, and also a huge fan of Lenny.”
She continued: “I listened endlessly to his 1998 album "5" – my personal favourite – but his whole discography is great, totally timeless. He came into the studio and transformed the guide vocal into magic, writing new lyrics and creating that incredible guitar riff. "I Believe In Love Again" is a strong message of positivity and hope, and we hope everyone feels that when they hear the song.”
To celebrate the new single, Peggy took to the streets of Seoul for a pop-up event selling exclusive merch in the day at Itaewon before an after-party in the Yongsan venue FERMENTS with a DJ set from the artist and others.
Earlier this year, Gou made her XL Recordings debut with the hit track "(It Goes Like) Nanana" marking her first release of new music in nearly two years.
The DJ and producer hosted another pop-up event for the release of the track in Soho, London in June.
