Kesha is stepping into a new era of her career with the launch of her very own independent label, Kesha Records. Formed in partnership with ADA, the independent distribution arm of Warner Music Group, Kesha Records will be home to all of the singer’s future music releases, including a highly anticipated new album set for 2025.
“I’m proud to announce this partnership and the launch of Kesha Records,” the singer shared in a statement. “My name is synonymous with transparency, integrity, and safety, and I aim to ensure those values are upheld at my label. Music has the power to connect the world, and I want my work to be a beacon of light and goodness.”
Kesha’s first release under her own label was the track Joyride in July, which also marked a new chapter for her as she now owns the rights to her music following her departure from Dr. Luke’s Kemosabe Records and RCA Records. Joyride is already followed by a series of remixes that set the tone for her future projects.
Fans are especially excited about the potential re-recording of her breakout hit TiK ToK. In an interview, Kesha hinted at plans to adjust the lyrics to reflect her current outlook, famously changing the line “Wake up in the morning feeling like P Diddy” to “Wake up in the morning like f**k P Diddy.”
