"Freckle" or "Chirping Birdie", as this song is also popularly called, is another song release from the "real" Hutsul band from Kolomyia, T.HUTSULS. Mykhailo Balukh set the folk lyrics to music, and the track sounded modern and energetic at Hutsul Planet Records.
"A little bird was chirping under the window, / A little bird of spring was hoping for the sun," just as our country hopes for victory and the beginning of a new life on the renewed land with the onset of spring 2023.
"Freckle" is a song that gives hope, that sounds to say: "Ukraine will survive!" Spring is almost here, nature is about to begin its flowering, and the sun will warm the earth. Let's celebrate spring together with a firm belief in Ukraine's victory.
At the charity concerts in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during T.HUTSULS' performances, it was "Freckle" that the audience loved the most. From the very first seconds of the song, people picked it up - and the mood of spring, hope and lightness enveloped everything around.
"Freckle" closes the track list of T.HUTSULS' debut album "Hutsuly", which will be released on February 10, 2023.
