Sergei Trofimov (Sergei Vyacheslavovich Trofimov, born November 4, 1966 in Moscow, Russia) is a Russian performer, songwriter and musician. He is known under the pseudonym Trofim. He works in the genres of chanson, author's song, reggae, blues. Since 1973 Sergey was a soloist of the Moscow State Choir at the Gnessin Institute. The performer started his solo career in 1987 as a rock-bard. Trofim recorded his debut album "Such an Early Spring" together with the band Eroplan. In 2004 Trofim presented the composition "That's all, the wise man said and dropped into the water", which became popular on the Russian radio. Since 2000 Sergey Trofimov started touring in Russia with solo concerts. In 2002, the performer received the "Chanson of the Year" award. Trofimov is the owner of 3 awards "Golden Gramophone" and the title "Honored Artist of Russia".
