Zemfira to struggle for Best East European Artist status at MTV EMA 2013
The Russian rock-singer Zemfira won in voting for the status of the Best Russian Artist, according to MTV, as it’s stated on the official website of the TV-channel.

Those, who competed with her, were Ivan Dorn, Basta, Elka and Nyusha. Now Zemfira is in the second voting round, and she’ll struggle in the category Best East European Artist.

In this nomination she’ll compete with Frankie, Celeste Bucingham, Ivan and The Parazol, The Ultras, Bednarek and Smiley. The voting process is open on 1-8 November.

The final list of MTV Europe Music Awards nominees will be announced on 10 November at the solemn ceremony in Amsterdam.

Those, who aspire to get the cherished award, are Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Green Day, Black Sabbath, Daft Punk, Paramore, Linkin Park, Jessie J, Katie Perry, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, etc. The Award Favorite is Justine Timberlake and the duet Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, who can get 5 awards each.
