1965 - At a hotel in Clearwater, Florida, Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones experiences a restless night plagued by a persistent guitar riff running through his head. Unable to shake the melody, Richards decides to capture it on tape, rolling a recording while playing the riff before drifting off to sleep. The following morning, as Richards awakens, he discovers the recording he made during his restless night. To his astonishment, the tape captures the unmistakable riff to "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," a song that would go on to become one of The Rolling Stones' most iconic and enduring hits.

The first revolution occurred in 1964, characterized by the invasion of British bands that introduced a radical new rocky sound, reshaping the landscape of Western pop music. The second major style shift occurred in 1983, driven by the widespread adoption of synthesizers, samplers, and drum machines. This technological advancement led to the emergence of new sonic textures and production techniques, influencing the direction of pop music in profound ways. The third revolution took place in 1991 when rap and hip-hop went mainstream, marking a significant cultural shift in the music industry. The rise of these genres brought new voices, perspectives, and rhythms to the forefront of popular music, diversifying the soundscape and challenging existing conventions.
