On May 12th, TopHit dropped the Top All Media Hits Global Weekly Chart for the week ending May 9, 2024.
Best newcomers of the week in All Media Global Top 100 for the week ending May 9.
The Youtube and Spotify charts saw the most exciting hip-hop battle in history between the best rappers of our time, Kendrick Lamar and Drake. Kendrick nailed it, taking the top spot on the All Media chart. Also worth noting is American singer-songwriter Tommy Richman, who had the biggest breakthrough of the week with Million Dollar Baby, up 39 positions and a top 10 entry.
Taylor Swift and Post Malone have seen a slight decline in the success of their song Fortnight, which is still in the top 10, but has dropped to number eight. There are some interesting newcomers besides Drake and Lamar, including the massive comeback of Imagine Dragons' classic Believer at number 41 (check out below and remember the video with good old Dolph Lundgren, that gathered more than 2 billion views on YouTube) and Turkish singer Bayhan with the heartfelt track Tiryakinim at number 55.

Last week, 71% of tracks on All Media Hits Global Weekly Chart were in English, 12% in Spanish and 6% in Korean with Pop, Power Pop and Dance reigning as the most popular genres.
