Jimin of BTS Scores Over 46 Million Spotify Streams in One Week!

On July 26th, TopHit dropped the Top Spotify Hits Global Weekly Chart for the week ending July 25, 2024.

The Spotify Global Weekly Chart top new releases are:

From the second position, a member of the world's most popular K-pop boy band debuted. Jimin is associated not only with BTS but also boasts a successful solo career. Last week, the artist released his second studio album, and the track Who generated significant interest among listeners, garnering over 46 million streams on Spotify in just one week, second only to Billie Eilish.

 

Stray Kids also made it into the top 40. The boys have been releasing music since 2017 and are beloved by the K-pop community. Their new single Chk Chk Boom deserves attention for its spectacular music video featuring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, with the track amassing just under 15 million streams.

 

And here’s how the top five most spun tracks on the Global Spotify are stacking up today:

3. Espresso - Sabrina Carpenter

4. Please Please Please - Sabrina Carpenter

Last week, 81% of tracks on the air were in English, 14% in Spanish, with PopPower Pop, R&B and Dance reigning as the most popular genres.
