1963 - Renowned trance DJ and music producer Paul Oakenfold was born in London, England. Over the years, he has become a pioneering figure in the electronic dance music scene, known for pushing the boundaries of trance and helping to bring the genre into the mainstream.

1969 - During a performance, the Birmingham band Earth undergoes a dramatic rebranding when lead singer Ozzy Osbourne announces from the stage that the band will now be known as Black Sabbath. The setlist for the night included early favorites such as "N.I.B.," "The Wizard," "Black Sabbath," and "Warning," marking a pivotal moment in the band's history.

1975 - KC & The Sunshine Band's vibrant and infectious track "Get Down Tonight" ascends to #1 on the US charts, marking the first of five chart-topping hits for the band. The song's lively disco rhythm and catchy groove quickly made it a dance floor favorite, capturing the essence of the 1970s disco era.
