Usher Eyes Glastonbury 2025 Headline Slot After Super Bowl Triumph

R&B superstar Usher has hinted at the possibility of headlining Glastonbury 2025, following his career-defining performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show earlier this year. In a recent interview, the "Yeah!" hitmaker shared his excitement about the idea of taking on one of the coveted headline slots at the legendary festival.

“It could be cool, right?” Usher told Metro when asked about the prospect of performing at Glasto. He even teased the possibility of bringing his iconic track "Lovers and Friends" to the festival, suggesting it would be a huge moment for fans.

Currently, Usher is in the midst of his North American ‘Past, Present, Future’ tour, which will continue into November before picking up again next spring for UK and European dates. With 10 nights already confirmed at The O2 in London, his tour wraps up in May, leaving him free for a potential headline performance at Worthy Farm in late June.

Usher’s name is just one of many rumored to be gracing the 2025 Glastonbury lineup. Speculation has been rife since the 2024 edition, which saw Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and SZA take on headline duties. Alongside Usher, other artists rumored to be in the mix for 2025 include Taylor Swift, Green Day, and Olivia Rodrigo. Cher is also reportedly in talks for the coveted legends slot.

In addition to his touring commitments, Usher has recently unveiled the trailer for his upcoming concert film Rendezvous In Paris, set to hit cinemas worldwide this September. He also dropped his latest album, Coming Home, featuring collaborations with Summer Walker, 21 Savage, H.E.R., BTS’s Jungkook, Burna Boy, and Latto.

With a potential Glastonbury slot on the horizon and a successful tour in full swing, Usher shows no signs of slowing down, and fans are eager to see what’s next from the R&B legend.
