Kanye West Brings His Kids On Stage at ‘Vultures 2’ Listening Party in China

Kanye West, now known as Ye, made a memorable family moment during the recent listening party for Vultures 2 in China. Held at the Wuyuan River Sports Stadium in Hainan on September 15, the event saw Ye bring his four children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm—on stage for a special performance of “Everybody.” The track, which features a chorus inspired by the Backstreet Boys' classic “Everybody,” was first showcased last year, sparking buzz for its nostalgic twist.

The moment was captured by his partner Bianca Censori and shared on social media, showing the kids vibing alongside their dad in a family performance.

Vultures 2, the follow-up to Ye’s first collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign released under the name ¥$, dropped in August, several months later than expected. While the album initially garnered attention, it ultimately fell short of debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, blocked by Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poet’s Department. This marked the end of Kanye’s 19-year-long streak of albums debuting at the top spot.

Despite its release, Vultures 2 has been met with mixed reactions from both fans and critics. It’s also sparked controversy for allegedly sampling Portishead without permission, following in the footsteps of Vultures 1, which faced similar copyright issues with Donna Summer’s estate over the use of “I Feel Love.”

The China listening party followed a similarly dramatic event in South Korea last month, where Ye made headlines by arriving on horseback and leading a crowd in a “F**k Adidas” chant—a direct response to the company's decision to end its partnership with him following his controversial 2022 comments.
