Maneskin’s Damiano David Teases New Solo Project

Damiano David, frontman of the electrifying Italian rock band Måneskin, has dropped a major hint about his upcoming solo project, Everywhere. The singer took to social media on September 9 to share a mysterious video, leaving fans buzzing with excitement.

In the moody, rain-soaked clip posted on his Instagram, David is seen walking towards a private car, sharply dressed in a suit. As he steps inside, the driver asks where he wants to go. His answer? “Everywhere.” Simple, cryptic, and totally intriguing.

The video ends with a promise: all will be revealed on September 27. While the details are still under wraps—whether Everywhere is a single, an album, or something else entirely—this looks to be Damiano’s first major move away from Måneskin. No sign of the other band members in the teaser, and it’s clear this venture is all about him.

David has previously hinted that a solo project could be on the horizon, calling it both “a very healthy and a very destructive thing.” He’s also been clear that if he ever goes solo, he’ll never forget his roots with Måneskin, stating that the band is where he developed as an artist. “If I ever have the chance to do a solo project, I have to keep in my mind that it’s thanks to everything I did with the band. That’s my foundation. That’s where I come from. That’s where I developed as an artist,” he said. “And most of everything, it’s three people that always supported me and always literally had my back on stage supporting me. And I always had this shield of my band, my musicians. If I f**k up, they’re gonna save me. If they f**k up, I’m gonna save them.

This comes just days after Måneskin bassist Victoria De Angelis made her solo debut with Brazilian superstar Anitta, launching the techno track GET UP BITCH! (Shake Ya Ass).

More details on Everywhere will be revealed on September 27, and if that’s too far away for you, keep an eye out on September 11. David will be co-hosting the 2024 MTV VMAs, so he may just drop another hint about this mysterious new project.
