London's electronic powerhouse, Chase & Status (Saul Milton and Will Kennard), are set to dominate the UK live music scene in 2025 with a massive arena tour. The duo will be bringing their signature blend of drum and bass, dubstep, and electrifying live performances to eight cities across the UK next spring.
In a playful twist, they enlisted action star Jason Statham to announce the tour, capitalizing on the tongue-in-cheek similarity between his name and theirs. Statham delivered a cryptic, high-energy monologue in the announcement video: "You don’t know us – you feel us. Don’t be thinking this is logical – don’t be thinking at all. Between your heartbeat and the drumbeat, purpose lies. Where you lose yourself is where you find us." He capped it off with a punchy line: "This is Chase & Status live. Oh, I’m sorry. Did you have other plans?”
This announcement follows a string of major successes for the duo. Last month, they headlined Boardmasters 2024 in Cornwall alongside Sam Fender and Stormzy. They also dropped a powerful collaboration with Stormzy titled ‘Backbone’. Additionally, Chase & Status joined forces with Becky Hill for their hit single ‘Disconnect,’ which they performed live at the BRIT Awards 2024.
The accolades keep rolling in for the duo. They were honored with the prestigious Producer Of The Year award at the 2024 BRITs.
