Faithless Return with New Album

Brace yourselves, electronic music aficionados! Faithless have officially announced their new album "Champion Sound" and dropped a fresh single, "Find A Way".

After an eight-year hiatus from live performances, the iconic group is electrifying the EU and UK with their comeback tour, which included a standout set at Glastonbury in late June. While the exact release date for "Champion Sound" is still under wraps, the anticipation is reaching fever pitch.

"Find A Way" marks Faithless' first new music since their 2020 album "All Blessed" and sees the band reuniting with London poet Suli Breaks for some truly evocative vocals. This track also carries a poignant weight, as it’s the group’s first release since the passing of their legendary frontman Maxi Jazz in December 2022.

Announcing their return to the studio back in April, Sister Bliss and Rollo shared on Instagram: "Maxi died just over a year ago and obviously we miss him every day. Thank you for all your kind words of support over this last year. It has really, really meant a lot.

“In the meantime, we never stopped (couldn't stop, never wanted to stop!) making music. Even during Maxi's long illness we recorded and released 'All Blessed', and now finally, eight years after our last live performance, we are returning to festival stages."

In an interview with DJ Mag, Sister Bliss spoke about how their live shows this year honor Maxi and celebrate the band’s musical legacy. “It is a bit like going on stage and taking your pants down, going out without your iconic frontman, so I felt really strongly that we were surrounded by people on this tour who understood and loved Maxi. Who have that kind of old school Faithless energy – I’m hoping that’s what we’re going to bring in spades.”

Faithless are bringing the fire, and "Champion Sound" promises to be a testament to their enduring spirit and talent. As we await more details, one thing is clear: Faithless are back, and they’re ready to make waves once again. Stay tuned, because this is just the beginning of an exhilarating new chapter for the legendary electronic outfit.
