On July 12th, TopHit dropped the Top Radio Hits Global Weekly Chart for the week ending July 11, 2024.
Welcome to TopHit! It's Friday, which means it's time to review the musical highlights of the week in July. This week's Global Radio Chart saw some exciting comebacks from artists who have previously dominated the airwaves. Notably, Kygo's remix of the iconic Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney track Say Say Say made waves, as did the collaboration between Lost Frequencies and David Kushner on In My Bones.
The week's standout new hit is the surprising success of 26-year-old American singer-songwriter Mark Ambor. His catchy and laid-back track Belong Together went viral on TikTok before making its way to radio, debuting at number 81.
Two other major new releases made their radio chart debut this week. British pop sensation Rita Ora dropped the fantastic track Ask & You Shall Receive, co-written with six-time Brit Awards winner Raye. Don't miss the music video where Rita causes a scene in a laundromat. Additionally, English pop-rock band Coldplay released their stadium anthem Feelslikeimfallinginlove, a song with one of the best choruses of their career.
