Far East Movement is an American band, founded in Los Angeles in 2003. The band consists of Kevin Nishimura, James Ro and Virman Kokiya, known as DJ Virman. The group works in the genre of hip-hop, pop, EDM. In 2010, the guys, along with The Cataracs and singer Dev, released the single "Like a G6," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and the iTunes chart. In 2012, the band recorded the track "Rocketeer" with the band One Republic. The single reached number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100. The track "Turn Up the Love" and a remix of the single "Get Up (Rattle)" topped the UK charts in 2012. The album "Identity" was positively reviewed by Billboard magazine.
