Plazma (stylized as PLAZMA, Russian. "Plazma"; in 1990-1999 - Slow Motion, Russian. "Slow Motion) is a Russian music group from Volgograd, working in the genres of synth-pop, euro-pop, eurodance and pop-rock. One of the first to perform songs exclusively in English for Russian-speaking audiences. Finalist of the qualifying round of the international Eurovision Song Contest 2009.
The band's permanent members are Roman Chernitsyn (vocalist, composer, lyrics writer) and Maxim Postelny (keyboardist, backing vocalist, composer, arranger). Accompanying musicians Alexander Luchkov (violinist, guitarist) and Nikolay Trofimov (guitarist) also take part in concerts.
In 32 years of existence, the band has released six studio albums (the first - Falling in Love in 1991, the penultimate - Indian Summer in 2017), 11 video clips, as well as a number of off-album songs
