Jessie J (real name - Jessica Ellen Cornish) is a British singer and songwriter.
She began her career in show business at the age of 11, when she started performing in Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical ‘Whistle Down the Wind’ on the West End. Jessica wrote her first song at the age of 17.
In early 2011, after topping the charts in two dozen countries around the world, including the UK, France, Ireland and New Zealand charts, with the song ‘Price Tag’, she released her debut album ‘Who You Are’. Her second studio album, “Alive”, was released on 23 September 2013 and reached the top 5 of the UK album chart.
In addition to her music career, Jessie has tried her hand at mentoring on the television show The Voice UK in the 2012 and 2013 seasons and The Voice Australia in the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
The singer has numerous awards to her credit, including: 2011 Critics' Choice BRIT Awards and BBC's Sound of 2011.
