Carol Lee (Carol Van Dyke, born April 22, 1962 in Vancouver, Canada) is a singer, musician, songwriter, composer, and guitarist. She works in the genre of electronic music. Carol is the lead singer of the indie band Bettie Serveert. The album Love Is Durkness, recorded together with Sander van Doorn in 2011, brought Carol world fame. The singles "Always a Stranger", "Emotions Away", "I Belong To", "We Will Live", "For Love", and "Beauty Hides In The Deep" have long been at the top of the charts in many countries. In 2008 Carol wrote the music for the documentary "My Tale Of Two Cities".
