Starsailor (translated as "Star Wanderer") is a British rock band based in Wigan, a city in the county of Greater Manchester. The band has released five studio albums to date (2017). Twelve of their thirteen singles have charted in the official UK singles chart, and the band have also sold around 3 million copies of their recordings. In November 2009, the band announced an indefinite leave of absence, at the same time as vocalist James Walsh began his solo career. In 2010, James released the EP "Live at the Top of the World", followed by the solo album "Lullaby" in 2012.
In May 2014, James Walsh announced the band's return and an upcoming tour.
