#2Mashi is a musical duo from Moscow, consisting of Maria Zaitseva and Maria Sheikh. Maria Danyilovna Zaitseva (born January 11, 1983, Moscow, RSFSR, USSR) is a Russian singer, musician, composer, producer and songwriter. Maria Sheikh is a recitative duet singer. She studied at the Faculty of Law, but her soul strived for music, wrote lyrics and dreamed of the stage. In 2022 she spent 9 days in intensive care and almost fell into a coma. One of the most popular songs of the duo is "Mama, I'm Dancing", which was played more than 500 000 times on Russian radio stations. In 2022, the duo announced a creative break.
