They worked in the genres: rock, rock'n'roll, psychedelic rock, hard rock, pop, mercibit. In 1963 the band presented the composition "Please Please Me/Ask Me Why", which brought the musicians popularity. The single topped the charts in the US and Britain. The Beatles presented another song "From Me to You / Thank You Girl", which became a hit immediately after its premiere. After the presentation of the singles "She Loves You / I'll Get You" and "Twist and Shout" the world-wide Beatlamania began, and the band's songs did not leave the charts of different countries for a long time and occupied the top of the American Billboard-100 charts. All of the band's albums have diamond status. The Beatles are the recipients of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, 10 Grammy statuettes and an honorary Grammy Award.
