AJR is a New York indie-pop band made up of multi-instrumentalist brothers Adam, Jack and Ryan Metzger. They independently create, produce and mix material in the living room of their Chelsea apartment. Over the course of their career they have managed to work with Demi Lovato, Fifth Harmony, Hoodie Allen, Lindsey Stirling, Train, Andy Grammer, We the Kings, Ingrid Michaelson and American Authors. The band name is made up of the first letters of Adam, Jack and Ryan's names. The music video "I'm Ready," released December 20, 2013, garnered more than 34 million views on YouTube, singles sold thousands of copies each week, the band was expected to have articles in Billboard and the New York Post, and climb the Top 40 chart. The band is known for such hits as "Record Player," "Weak," "Bang!" and others.
