Bob Sinclar (or Bob Sinclar, French; real name: Christophe Le Friant, French), born May 10, 1969. May 10, 1969, Paris) - French producer, DJ, creator of the record label Yellow Production. Sinclair began his DJ career at the age of 17 under the name Chris the French Kiss. He played dance music: funk and hip-hop. His first club hit was a joint composition with Toma Bangalthe called "Gym Tonic," using Jane Fonda's voice illegally taken from a cassette tape. Bob Sinclair's worldwide popularity came from such tracks as "Love generation," "World, Hold On" and "Rock This Party" ("Everybody Dance Now"). The track "Love generation" became one of the official anthems of the World Cup 2006 in Germany. The next up hit "World, Hold On" featuring Steve Edwards also managed to get on the top positions of the most European charts. Then "Rock This Party" ("Everybody Dance Now") appeared on August 22nd, 2006. A year later the remix of "World, Hold On" by DJ E-smoove was nominated for a Grammy Award in the "New Arrangement Recording" category. In addition, "World, Hold On" was named Billboard's Best Club Dance Hit of 2006, leaving behind Madonna and Christina Aguilera.
