"Alisa is a Soviet and Russian rock band, formed in 1983 in Leningrad. One of the most popular bands in Russian rock. Konstantin Kinchev is the leader and author of most Alisa songs. The specific genre of Alisa's music has changed over the years: from the light "new wave" in the early period to more heavy rock, and in the XXI century there appeared the influence of metal. At present Alice is actively working on recording new compositions, touring a lot and performing as a headliner at various festivals. In 2004, the readers of Komsomolskaya Pravda named Alisa the most influential band in Russian rock. The group's first three albums - "Energy" (1985), "Block of Hell" (1987) and "The Sixth Ranger" (1989) - sold over 1 million copies each, which equals platinum status in the USA. In the noughties Konstantin Kinchev's songs became the main topic of Orthodoxy, which determined a new round of Alisa's development. In November 2003, guitarist Andrey Shatalin and drummer Mikhail Nefyodov, the founders of the band, left the band. The sound of the band became modern and noticeably heavier, and new albums began to be released almost annually. In 2018 Alice celebrated its 35th anniversary with a large-scale concert tour.
