Svetlana Lvovna Geyman, better known as Linda (born April 29, 1977, Kentau, Turkestan Oblast) is a Russian singer of electronic and ethnic music, poet, and artist. Linda is most often referred to the genre of trip rock.
At first, the composer Maxim Fadeev was the author of music for Linda. After parting ways with him, Linda began writing poetry and music on her own, and collaborated with authors such as Evgeny Pozdnyakov, Mara and Lyubasha. During her career, the singer sold more than 5 million copies of albums in Russia, including "Songs of Tibetan Lamas" - 350 thousand, "Raven" - 3.5 million, "Raven. Remake & Remix" - 500 thousand, "Linda" - 100 thousand, "AtakA" - 500 thousand, "AleAda" - 125 thousand. On July 26, 2019, the digital release of Linda and Korkolis' collaborative album titled "Bloody Faeries" took place. Includes almost all of the material recorded for the unreleased "Delivery Dreams", an album planned in 2011-2012.
10th studio album DNA of the World
After a brief pause in concert activity due to coronavirus restrictions in 2020, Linda continued to tour extensively.
On September 25, 2020, the studio album "DNA of the World" was released. The songs feature Yakut language and oriental motifs. The sound of the album is not as heavy, and more strongly references Linda's earlier albums than her previous releases since 2008.
