Rodion Olegovich Gazmanov was born on July 3, 1981 in Kaliningrad in the family of a teacher who became a famous singer and composer, Oleg and chemist Irina Gazmanov. At the age of five he went to a music school, piano class. For eight years (1988-1996) he studied at the Moscow 204th school, in the experimental class, then studied at the Moscow secondary school № 28 with advanced study of English. Then two years (1996-1998) - in English college Buckswood Grange International School - GCSC course, English, IT-A-level, in a small town in the south-eastern part of England. In 2003 Rodion Gazmanov graduated from the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation with a red diploma, department of “Enterprise Finance and Financial Management”. While studying at the financial academy, he created his musical group “DNA”. After graduating from the academy, he became involved in real estate and show business projects. In mid-2012, he left the business to pursue music exclusively. On May 28, 2013, he released his first solo album, Counterphase. On June 3, 2019, he received an award in the Best Singer category. On September 2, 2020, he released his second solo album “What is love?”. Rodion Gazmanov is the leader of his own musical project under his own name (the group DNA has not existed since 2004). The songs “Gravity” and “Parami” are in rotation on radio stations. For the latter he received the “Golden Hit” award of the Musicbox TV channel.
