British singer-songwriter. Chris de Sarandy grew up in the southwest of England. At the age of 14 he was already playing in an indie rock band . However, he eventually became more interested in pop and left the group because he was more interested in success than his bandmates. He moved to London and attended the BRIT School . After graduating, he moved to Berlin and worked in a design agency there. In Berlin he was discovered and signed by the independent label Embassy of Music in 2022. His breakthrough came with the single Cynical , a collaboration with the DJ duo Twocolors . They took Played a Life by Safri Duo and sampled their bongo rhythm. The song reached number 15 in the German single charts.
