Blue is a British boy band formed in 2000 by Duncan James, Lee Ryan, Simon Webb and Anthony Costa. In 2002, they topped the British charts with a reprise of Elton John's classic "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word", with the musician himself as the fifth member of the band. In 2005, all members of the band were engaged in solo projects and did not record together. In 2009, the band reunited. In 2011, they were appointed to represent Great Britain at the Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf, and came in 11th place
