DMX (Dark Man X; real name Earl Simmons; born December 18, 1970, Mount Vernon, New York; date of death April 9, 2021, White Plains, New York) is an American rapper and actor. Five of his albums in a row have debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 charts, an unprecedented phenomenon. DMX has also starred in several movies, the most famous of which are Romeo Must Die, Screaming Wounds and From Cradle to Grave. Throughout his career, DMX sold 74 million albums worldwide.
He passed away on April 9, 2021 at the age of 50 after a cardiac arrest.
