Along with bandmate-friend Aaron Kamin,[en] he was part of the band The Calling. Their collaboration proved successful, the band released 2 albums, Camino Palmero (2001) and Two (2004). They also reached the Top 40 with songs such as "Adrienne", "Our Lives" and "Things Will Go My Way". Band's solo career is well known for the song "Why Don't You & I", recorded with Carlos Santana in 2004. In 2008, he formed his own recording studio, AMB Records, and released an EP (an album usually consisting of 5 songs) called the Alex Band EP. Band released his debut solo album We've All Been There in June 2010. Currently resides in Los Angeles
