"Assorti" is a Russian female pop group founded in 2004. The history of the group dates back to the first season of the television show Narodny Artist, broadcast in 2003 by the Rossiya TV channel. Six girls were united into a vocal ensemble and in March 2004 signed a contract with producer Evgeny Fridlyand. The "Assorti" lineup included participants of the project "People's Artist": Oksana Kazakova, Maria Zaitseva (who later created the duet #2Mashi), Arina Ritz, Natalia Pavolotskaya, Olga Vatlina and Anna Alina. Soon the group had about twenty songs, including "Ding-a-dong" (along with the song of the band "Havana" "New Year in a New Dress" to music and lyrics by A. Yagolnik - one of the Russian-language covers of the song "Teach-In" "Ding-a-dong"), "Two Snowflakes", "Beautiful Love", "Kill Me Tenderly". The composition "Beautiful Love" in 2005 brought the members the Golden Gramophone award. On March 10, 2011, the seven-year contract of the members of the first lineup expired. Only Oksana Kazakova remained in the collective. After additional casting she was joined by Marina Brioli, Marina Drozhdina, Maria Troshanova and Julia Tatchina. The result of two years of work in 2013 was the release of the album "Under the Scope", supported by two videos for the songs "Angels" and "Unearthly Attraction". Over time, there was a periodic rotation of soloists in the collective. Among them Oksana Kazakova left the group and started her solo career. The change of soloists was facilitated by the loyal contract of the second composition of the group, in which they were not forbidden to marry and take maternity leave. Since 2017, the producer of the group became its director, Vladislav Selischev, the author of many new songs of the collective. Soon the following line-up of the Assorti group was formed: Marina Brioli, Maria Tsesar, Polina Romanova, Polina Hertz, Ksyusha Shapiro, Nastya Vlady. During the pandemic in the spring of 2020, the band recorded the song "Don't Forget" for Victory Day at home. In July of the same year, Anastasia Vlady and Ksyusha Shapiro left the band. Victoria Rada, a graduate of the Gnessin RAM named after Gnesins, became the new soloist. In early 2021 the band released the EP album "Big Girls", which consisted of the songs: "Big Girls", "You Are Mine", "Comrade Captain", "Mushchina", "Big Girls (Maxim Keks Radio Mix)". The band currently consists of Gnessin RAM graduates Polina Gerts, Victoria Rada, and Elena Forte. In April 2022, the group released the track "We Are Russians". With this song Assorti took part in many charity concerts. In the fall of 2022, the band released a video for the track "You Are Mine". In April 2023, the track "Beautiful Love 2.0" was released Now "Assorti" is a female trio without a producer. The lead singers are independently engaged in track writing and content creation
