The Wanted is a British-Irish boy band founded in 2009. The band consists of Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, James McGuiness, Tom Parker, and Nathan Sykes.
According to the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), the band has been certified for 700,000 albums and 3 million singles in the UK. Their nominations and awards include 14 World Music Awards, two Brit Awards, an American Music Award and an MTV Video Music Award. On September 8, 2021, The Wanted announced that they would reunite to record a greatest hits album and perform at a benefit concert at the Royal Albert Hall in support of band member Tom Parker, who was diagnosed with brain cancer in late 2020.
