On February 24, Ukraine woke up from the explosions - thus began a new era in the history of human civilization. The ordinary world will never be the same again, the war has affected every Ukrainian person, every family, every home. During these weeks, the country has changed inevitably - despite the legends about the number of hetmans per capita, we have come together to defend our land. Russia is trying to destroy everything Ukrainian and only our soldiers stand in their way.
TNMK presents the single "Mom", a collaboration with the Ukrainian band KOZAK SYSTEM. This song is about a Ukrainian soldier returning home for just one day and promising his mother that all will be well.
Fozzey: “A year ago, Ivan Lenyo from KOZAK SYSTEM offered to make this track like a story about a conversation between a soldier and his mother - in the old kitchen, at a table covered with old oilcloth. This picture immediately came to life. We made a separate version by rewriting the text and changing the arrangement.
And now, a year later, it has become clear that spring is cold and war is much closer than before - suddenly every word in this song has gained extra weight. A year ago, no one could have known that the lyrics of this song would become so real. But we will definitely come back as winners after the battle - this will be another Ukraine. And another world. "
Fahot: “When I was producing this track, in some places I felt like using the sound of a cannon shot instead of a kick. I couldn't know then that this sound metaphor would soon become a harsh reality for all of us. ”
Ivan Lenyo: “Today the whole country, all sons and daughters stood up for our Independence, stood up for our people. And every Mother is now sitting at home, worried and waiting for the news, but we can assure our mothers that we will return alive. The enemy will be defeated. To our boys and girls, their moms and dads. Glory to Ukraine!"
