Once Again

The Ukrainian singer from San Francisco ANDRUX has presented the composition «Once Again» dedicated to the loved one.

This song is about the stage of "acceptance" in the process of dealing with trauma caused by the loss of love. It is difficult to understand and realize the fact of death, mostly there is denial to believe what happened. I want to comfort myself with the hope of a mistake, that there is an opportunity to change something, to rewrite the story, to call "one more time", to hug my dear person, and say how much you love him or her.

«Once Again» was written by ANDRUX after he lost his childhood friend Roman, who defended Ukraine and gave his life for it. For the last few years, the friends spoke a lot by the phone, which is why the song has the words "call me again". According to ANDRUX, Roman had been defending Ukraine since 2014 and it seemed like he was an immortal warrior, so his death during a full-scale invasion hit the singer really hard.

“There are hundreds of people like Roman and it hurts and saddens me so much. So many people will no longer hear the voice of their close friends, loved ones, parents, brothers and sisters - it is very sad. I hug every Ukrainian who has lost a loved one. I’m very sorry for you. I pray to God every day that this dark night of pain and loss will end forever. And that every soul crippled by the war would be reborn like an immortal phoenix, blossomed like the Garden of Eden and know the light and warmth of love. Because Ukraine is about light, Ukraine is about love!” ANDRUX commented on the premiere.
