Fresh off the back of their surprise track ‘High Life’, Bloc Party are due to release another on the 2nd June, which comes during the US leg of the Paramore tour they are supporting on. A completely different feel to High Life’s summery guitar riff, ‘Keep It Rolling’ sees Bloc Party joined by US musician and singer/songwriting KennyHoopla for a more brooding alternative banger. This seamless collaboration is guaranteed to have fans hitting repeat and will appeal to listeners across the board.
After almost two decades, six albums, multiple world tours and a variety of solo projects along the way, Bloc Party remain a vital force, continuing to innovate and reinvent their sound. Hayley Williams (Paramore) praised the band on her BBC Sounds podcast ‘Everything Is Emo’, where she hailed them as being Paramore’s “number one reference”, adding, “I’m really really thankful for this band, I’m so thankful that they’re back, they’re playing shows, they’re putting out great songs, and it just makes me feel even more excited to get back out into the world.”
