Romanian pop singer Serena has unveiled a new single about a romantic trip to California. The track with the telling title "Cali" was released on August 18. Serena recorded her new track at the crossroads of pop and R&B genres, decorating it with sampled effects and bright oriental motifs. The lyrical heroes of "Cali" run away for a rendezvous in California, dissolving in the local scenery and their feelings for each other. Serena is a singer and songwriter originally from Romania. Widespread fame came to the artist in 2018 after she recorded the track "Safari" for the national selection for the international Eurovision Song Contest. Now the single is experiencing a second wave of popularity - the composition has gained more than 818 thousand videos filmed under it in TikTok, and more than 280 million views on YouTube.
