Hip-hop artist Kambulat, author of the hit "Thomas Shelby," has unveiled his eighth single this year. The track titled "Elevators" premiered on December 15. In it, the artist recalls the past, immersing himself in the aesthetics of old elevators and entrances. "Elevators" is melodic lo-fi hip-hop with rhythmic boom-bap drums and a guitar sample. Using images of painted stairwells and elevators in old houses, the artist recalls life before his popularity and contrasts his then sincerity with his current success: "Let's forget how we loved, what numbers, but our faces will remember the elevators: the smiles of our relatives, the joy of our loved ones - yes, we made the lists." Kambulat is a hip-hop and pop singer who launched his music career in 2020 with the single "Loved the Fool" (6 million listens on YouTube). The first big success to the artist was brought by the second single - "Thomas Shelby", named after the main character of the popular TV series "Sharp Trump".
