GoonRock (David Jamal Listenby, born April 18, 1975 in Princeton, New Jersey, USA) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, rapper, and music producer. He works in the genres of dance, hip-hop, pop, rap, and EDM. At the beginning of his musical career David wrote his beats for famous artists: Dr. Dre, Kanye West, Ne-Yo. In 2011, David co-produced and co-wrote singles for American duo LMFAO. In 2012 the musician co-produced and co-wrote the singles for Jennifer Lopez "Clothes Off" and "Goin' In". The compositions were hits and reached number one on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs. In 2015-2016, Listenby recorded several of his solo songs, presented under the last name Listenbee.
