Pierre Narcisse (French: Pierre Narcisse; full name Mudio Mukutu Pierre Narcisse De Napoli De Suza; February 19, 1977, Ebone, Coastal Region - June 21, 2022, Moscow) was a Russian singer and actor of Cameroonian descent. Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia (2006). Mudio Mukuto Pierre Narcisse De Napoli De Souza was born on February 19, 1977 (according to other sources - February 19, 1972) in Ebone, Cameroon. As a child, he played soccer. At the age of 13, he began learning to play the tenor saxophone. In the early 1990s, he formed his first band, which performed songs in clubs in both French and local languages in Cameroon. He came to Russia, where his sister lived in Egorievsk near Moscow. At the same time passed the casting and took part in the filming of the movie "The Barber of Siberia". Episodic role (in the credits is listed as Mundi Narcis) - the attendant of the Abyssinian prince - was his first public work. He entered the faculty of journalism at Moscow State University. At the same time he worked in casinos and nightclubs. Since the late 1990s he played in the PFUR KVN team. In 2000 he participated in several episodes of the TV show "12 Angry Viewers" on MTV Russia as a participant. In March 2001 he hosted a special edition of the show, replacing Yana Churikova. Up to his participation in "Star Factory - 2" worked as a DJ on the radio stations "RDV - Radio for Adults" and "Hit FM". He took part in "Star Factory - 2", where the song "Chocolate Hare" became his calling card. At the end of 2004, he released his first, eponymous album. In 2006 he was awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia". In 2008, he participated in the project "Star Ice" of the TV channel "Russia-1". In 2013 he recorded the singles "Domes" and "Sakhalin Love" together with Mikhail Grebenshchikov. For 10 years Pierre Narcisse struggled with a severe form of gout, which developed on the background of asthma, in 2022 he was also diagnosed with kidney failure. Pierre Narcisse died at 11:05 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the age of 45, in Moscow from cardiac arrest due to failed kidney surgery. The death was announced by his ex-wife Valeria Kalacheva and daughter Caroline-Christelle. Farewell to Pierre Narcisse was repeatedly postponed for various reasons and was held on June 30, 2022 in Moscow in the ritual hall of the Central Clinical Hospital. He was buried on July 23, 2022 in the family crypt in his homeland of Cameroon. The singer's grave is closed for public visitation.
